Please have a look through the wedding photos in the galleries on the drop down menu. Some are blog posts from one wedding, while others are collections of images from several weddings shot at the same venue at different times of year. They’re included to give you an idea of my photographic style.
My photography style
I’m primarily a documentary wedding photographer. My objective is to create a set of photos that capture all the elements of the wedding day in its entirety – the people, the places, the details, the moments. I’ll spend the majority of the day observing events and recording what I see, using my skills at photographic composition and framing to create artistic images that reflect the story of your big day. This means that you won’t be taken away from your guests for ages, but will get to spend the majority of your wedding day with friends, family and loved ones – the ones you invited to share your special day with you. Of course, we’ll find some time to shoot a handful of formal groups, and I’ll take you off for a short portrait session (perhaps two, including one later on in the evening), but for the most part you’ll simply get on enjoying the day and getting on with the business of getting married!
