Cheshire wedding photography studio

 

I’m fortunate enough to be based in the grounds of the spectacular Arley Hall, one of the premier wedding venues in Cheshire, and where I photograph a lot of weddings.

I’m situated in the Woodyard Car Park, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Arley Hall itself.

This shot was taken last winter, in temperatures of -11 and with about eight inches of snow on the ground.  But don’t worry – it’s cosy inside.

 

 

The building is so old that they can’t actually date it, although estimates suggest it’s at least 200 years old.  In its time it’s been a smithy, a workshop and served countless other uses.  Since 2003 it’s been the location of Martin Hambleton Photography, acting primarily as a meeting place but also a gallery and showroom for my work.  Occasionally I’ve photographed portraits in the building too, although the majority of my photographic work is taken on location.
