Thornton Manor is one of the premier wedding venues in Cheshire; indeed in the whole country. It’s a fabulous place to photograph a wedding, as there are so many places where you can create wonderful wedding images, whatever the weather, at all times of year. As well as the magnificent house itself, there are also wonderful buildings in the grounds which all offer great opportunities for photographs.
I first met Vicky and David over a year ago. It was clear from our first meeting that they were a couple who had invested a great deal of time and thought into their wedding day, and were looking for a photographer who could convey all that in their photographs. As part of the preparations for their big day they visited my studio for a pre-wedding shoot back in the spring, the results of which were posted on my old blog (there’s a link to the post here). I realised then what a great day their wedding would be, and I was right. Photography was clearly important to them – they knew that the images I was going to create for them were to be their lasting memory of the biggest day in their lives.
A few details of the great wedding suppliers they had chosen:
Make up by Sian Auld at So Coco Rouge
Flowers by Earth Flowers
Videography by Marry Me Films
Photography by yours truly (of course)
Vicky’s dress by Belles Bridal Boutique
And now on to the photos.
