I am a Cheshire wedding photographer, based at my studio in the grounds of Arley Hall, but I photograph weddings in Manchester, Cheshire, the Northwest and all over the UK.
Please take a look at some of the wedding photographs in the galleries, all taken from recent weddings at some of the venues I regularly work at, which will give you an idea of my style and approach to wedding photography. The selection of images will show you the range of photography I undertake during a normal wedding day.
If you are looking for documentary or reportage wedding photographs, or formal wedding portraits, you will find them here. Labels like ‘reportage wedding photography’ or ‘natural light photography’ or ‘formal wedding portraits’ can be useful when you are looking to choose a wedding photographer, but I don’t define myself by the style of photographs I take, but by the style of wedding photography service I provide.
I photograph the whole wedding, using reportage techniques to be as unobtrusive as possible for most of the day, but also take a little time to shoot beautiful formal portraits of the bride and groom and their friends and family. Unlike a lot of wedding photographers, I’m not afraid to spend some time photographing groups; in fact, they’re an enjoyable challenge!
My aim is to give you wedding photographs which record every part of the wedding day: the detail of the bride’s shoes and wedding dress, the look on her dad’s face when he first sees her in her dress, the glance between the best man and groom as the bride arrives at the top of the aisle, the look in the bride’s eyes when her groom tells her that she rocks his world, the tears, the laughter, the good jokes and the bad ones, and all the moments which could be forgotten over time but which will be captured in photographs which will become family heirlooms.
I have no doubt that you and your loved ones will put a lot of thought, care, attention to detail and hard work into planning your wedding and I have built my reputation as a professional wedding photographer on the same standards. I care about every bride and groom whose wedding I am entrusted to photograph: I plan the wedding photography service on the day with close attention to detail and work hard on your wedding day, using all my professional skill and experience so that it looks easy!
My commitment to giving my clients the best wedding photography service I can offer them brings all sorts of rewards. Long after the wedding album has been delivered, many couples stay in touch: we have become friends.
